A Swirly Bird Swirly Scribbles Botanical Builders Birthday Card

Okay, you probably want me to put these sets away and play with something else. I've been playing with them mostly because they are still sitting out!!!

This is a very fun and easy card to make.  Beginning with the base, I used a folded half sheet of Whisper White card stock that was cut on the short side.  Meaning, this card opens from the bottom and the fold is at the top.

Next I cut a layer of Sweet Sugarplum card stock 4" x 5-1/4". I cut the piece of Whisper White card stock 5" x 3/34".

I die cut the swirly flower rings using Sweet Sugarplum card stock. \

I cut the flower to the left using a piece of the Peekaboo Peach card stock and the Botanical Builders framelits. The center of the flower is a piece of Very Vanilla. The leaf is cut from a piece of Mint Macaron.  I opted to go with solid leaf because there was too much airy stuff going on with the swirly flower.

I stamped the cute little flowers using the new Dapper Denim ink.  That was the last ink I had left to open.  Hmmm, I wonder if that means I won't be using it as often as I am using the other colors??? That's kind of how I operate!  I placed a tiny little pearl in the center of each of the little flowers.  I colored a larger pearl using a violet Sharpie marker and placed it in the center of the main flower.

I used a large pop up glue dot on the back of the flower. I added the leaf to that glue dot and then set the flower in place on the swirly rings.  I added the Very Vanilla flower center and then the pearl.

The words are from the "Wetlands" set and stamped using Mint Macaron ink.  And that was it. Pretty easy and pretty quick!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
