A Papillon Potpourri Magic Card Technique

I have not made a magic card in over 10 years.  I actually forgot how to get it assembled. Fortunately for You Tube I was able to find a tutorial that was easy enough to follow (easy enough for me to follow!!!).  You can see that tutorial here.

I didn't put a lot of effort into this technique, I was just testing it out.  I saw some new and fun stamps coming up in the 2016 Occasions catalog and I think I would like to give it a try using one of them.  This was more for practice!

It was fun.  It took a little bit of time to do, but it worked!!  I think that I could have gone a step further and added some words in the empty circle in the bottom photo.  Something like "I wish you a" or something like that.  It looks like it needs something.  But the funny thing is, when I finished the card and pulled the ribbon and saw the butterfly in color, it was magic!  And I did not notice that open spot until I saw it here on the post!!!  LOL  Maybe the magic of it keeps your eyes away from it!!  But upon thinking of that notion more, if I were to stamp something there it would show up behind the flower and there would be no magic!!  It needs to be open and empty!

Anyway, it was fun and I look forward to trying it out with a different image.  Something with flowers would be pretty!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
