A Home for the Holidays Christmas Card with the Corner Flip Technique

There's two fun things on this card that I LOVE.  I LOVE the Santa (of course) and the Corner Flip Fold technique.  You can find that technique here.  I have used it on several cards since I learned how to do it.  It's super fun and very easy.  The link I provided you has detailed step by step instructions for you to make your own.  It's so cool that the inside of the font folds forward to become the front of the card. It's magic!  Or it's expected if you cut the two sides right!!!  Just make sure your cardstock is on the long side in the cutter first!!  I included that in the instructions.  I'm sure yours will turn out find the first time!  I hadn't made one in a while and I referred to my own instructions to make this one!! And it worked!

The Santa here is from the "Home for the Holidays" Decorative Paper pack.  I fussy cut him out.  It was worth the couple of minutes it took.

I had to make sure I layered some other color to the inside of the card or the flipped piece would have blended in and looked a bit blah.  This is not my design.  I was at Terri's Stamping Extravaganza and I was taking pictures of finished cards and projects.  It was a fun day.  I got to see all of the new products.  She will be having one in January to show off all the new Sale-a-Brations and new spring catalog items!!!  I'm excited to see samples and projects!! Plus to buy some stuff.  You have to when it's Sale-a-Bration!!!

This was fun to make.  I have lots of images that will fit into that folded square area!!!  And I'm sure I'll be getting some new ones that will fit there too!  I just love this card technique!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
