A Happy Scenes Christmas Card

I wanted to play with the "Happy Scenes" stamp set without the window die.  I do like the window die but I also like the images in the set just as they are.

I stamped the trees on a piece of Whisper White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink.  Then I trimmed the card to the size you see.  I didn't cut the cardstock first, I wasn't sure where I wanted the ground to end.  I added some silver glitter cardstock behind the image piece.  I layered it on a piece of Whisper White that was textured using the "Falling Snow" embossing folder.  I layered that on top of a piece of Smoky Slate cardstock.  And that was then set in place on top of a folded half-sheet of Whisper White cardstock.

The words are from the same set.  I used the scalloped punch and Smoky Slate cardstock.  I added a layer of the glitter paper using the 1-3/8" circle punch and I punched the words using the 1-1/4" circle punch.  I set the layered trees and the circle pieces in place using Dimensionals.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
