A Kinda Eclectic Flower Shop Petite Petals Birthday Card

WOW, that title was a mouthful!!!  I was trying to catch all of the main stamp sets that were used to make this card.  I did miss the "Petite Pairs" for the words.  Oh and about those words.  I meant to stamp them using Memento ink and I grabbed the Memories ink pad that I had.  Apparently just because the Memories set started with M I just assumed it was the one I wanted.  The ink is more bluish than black.  I do LOVE the Memento ink pad.  The black is a very rich crisp black and it dries a whole lot faster than the Basic Black pad.  And it doesn't stain the image as much as the black StazOn does.  It's my ink pad of choice!!

So now that we got that out of the way, lets talk about my card!!! I used the "Kinda Eclectic" sun burst on the background.  I stamped it using Daffodil Delight.  Then I took the leaf image from that same set and stamped it using Pear Pizzazz.  On a piece of scrap card stock I stamped the flower from "Flower Shop" using Melon Mambo ink.  The tiny flower in the center is from the "Petite Petals" set and it was stamped using Daffodil Delight.  Those two pieces were punched out, taped together, and then set in place using Dimensionals.  A Tempting Turquoise Candy Dot was set in the center of the flower.  The butterfly is from the "Papillion Potpourri" set and stamped using Tempting Turquoise ink. The base of the card is Tempting Turquoise.

This was a very simple card to make and it can be used for several other occasions as well!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
