Teeny Tiny Wishes Gorgeous Grunge and Butterflies Thinlits

Today I thought I would play with the Butteflies Thinlits.  Not because I needed a butterfly card but because I needed to try out a different technique that helped you learn to love these detailed thinlits more.  I had tried the dryer sheet one.  It worked but I was not totally happy with it because the butterfly stuck to the sheet and I had to pull it off.  In pulling it off the sheet, I did rip it a little.  So the other day I saw a tip that required using waxed paper.  The person showing it said that there was a waxy finish left on the item.  But that person should check the waxed paper first.  Only one side has wax on it.  Use your fingernail and scrape the paper and find out which side it is.  Place that side down on your cutting mat.  Then place your card stock down.  Then place another piece of waxed paper down. Waxed side up and then the framelit.  Run it through your Big Shot and it's done.  You just arch the paper a little bit and the pieces just pop off.  I like this technique So much better.

So to make this card I used the Gorgeous Grunge set and Crumb Cake for the background.  And the words are from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.  This was a very fun card to make and I now LOVE those detailed thinlits.  Bring um on!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
