The Open Sea Masculine Birthday Card

I thought I would get a jump on the cards I need for the upcoming year.  So my first one is a masculine one.  And a super easy one at that too!

I used Tempting Turquoise card stock and ink.  I also used a piece of decorative paper from the Sweet Taffy pack.  It's my second pack!!! I used up my first one on an envelope punch board album. You can see the fun album here.  I would LOVE to make another one but they do take a LOT of time.

I used the Sweet Taffy piece on the background.  I thought it would give the illusion of water.  If you squint!  With one eye closed??  From across the room???  LOL I just liked the color.

I stamped the ship in Tempting Turquoise ink and layered the image on the front of the card.

I did the words on the computer.  I used the RBG code for Tempting Turquoise but I think it came out a little too blue. I think it could have used a bit more green.  Oh well, I used it anyway.  That code was found on the net and it was R-84, B-220, G-193.  There are other codes out there and you can try one until it matches from your printer.  Different printers can print different colors too.

Anyway, the word layer was set in place using Dimensionals.

See, I told you it was super easy.  And it was fun too!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
