Project Life Holiday Cheer Christmas Card

This is one of my favorite layouts and I'm SO happy that Stampin' Up! came out with the fun "Project Life Holiday Cheer" set.  There's lots of little images that fit in that circle!!!  I have made many cards like this and try to every chance I get.  So when I see a stamp set that has smaller images I tend to purchase them!  I was thinking of our family Christmas card when I ordered that set.  This card is not in the running but I do like it.

I also used the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set for the words.  There are words in the set but none that would fit within the Word Window Punch area.

The decorative paper is from the "Trim the Tree" designer series paper stack.  One sheet from the pack will make two cards like this.

They layers on the card go as follows beginning from the top to the card base.

The top layer is cut from decorative paper that measures 3-7/8" x 2-7/8".  The next layer is Crisp Cantaloupe and measures 4" x 3".  The Whisper White piece is cut 4-1/2" x 3-1/2".  And the Cherry Cobbler is cut from a half sheet of card stock.  This piece as cut on the 8-1/2" side and the fold is at the top.

I stamped the mittens on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and used Dimensionals to set it in place over the opening.  The decorative panel and layer were set in place on the Whisper White card stock using Dimensionals.  Be careful not to get any on the scrap piece of Whisper White or the layer will sit too tall in the middle.  Then that Whisper White piece was just taped to the Cherry Cobbler piece.

I used Garden Green for the Modern Label piece.  I also used markers to color in the mittens.

Such a fun and easy card to make and it didn't take very long to do either!

Thank you SO much for stopping on by today,
Wanda
