Another Thank You and the Bokeh Technique

The name of this stamp set makes me laugh.  The name of the stamp set is "Another Thank You."  When I put it in the title of the post it makes it sound like I'm making "another" thank you card.  Well, since this is not the first time I posted a card using this set, I am technically making "another" thank you card.  But I'm actually making another "Another Thank You" card!  Are you still with me?  LOL

This is a very fun technique.  The image here is not as pretty as it is in real life.  The colors blended together much nicer than they look like they do here.

Paula at "Stampinantics" posted the how to for this technique.

First you take a piece of Whisper White card stock and sponge on some Lost Lagoon ink.  Then sponge on some Smoky Slate.  Punch out different sizes of circles.  Paula recommended using Window Sheets to do that.  My punches didn't punch it very well, so I just used card stock.  I punched out several of the same size because the backs pick up some white ink and you don't want to spread that around. I used three different size circles.

Next you use a sponge dauber and sponge on some Whisper White craft ink.  Heat set it to dry.  You want to make sure it's dry before you add your words or images.  Stamp your words or images using VersaMark and then I embossed using silver embossing powder.  I added some foil circles to the front to give it some more depth!

It's a very fun and easy technique to do.  So if you need "another" thank you card, grab the "Another Thank You" set and go create one!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
