Another Summer Silhouettes Birthday

I found a card similar to the one I made at Julie's Paper Pleasing Ideas blog.  I say similar because I changed it up a bit.
I had used my Big Shot to cut out an oval to use as a template.  I was going to sponge but I am not that great at sponging large areas, and after several attempts I was going to abandon the whole card.  But I thought I would mix some Marina Mist ink with a little of the Vanilla Shimmery Smooches Spritz and spray my color on.  I liked how it turned out.  In person you can see the shimmer on it.  It sparkles so pretty!!!

Then I stamped the stems using Mossy Meadow ink.  I embossed the flowers using my VersaMark pad and white embossing powder.

I used the Modern Label punch for the word layer and the Word Window punch to punch out the words from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  I set the words in place using Dimensionals.  I also set the front panel in place using Dimensionals.  That I think was a mistake.  The paper warped when it dried and the Dimensionals only enhanced the warped look.  UGH!  So if you are going to make a card like this using the layers, lay the stamped layer flat to dry.  Or do as the original card was done, NO layers!!!  I chose to do the top layer because I was afraid I would wreck the card stamping on it.  I've done it too many times SO I know what I know the damage I'm capable of doing!!  LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
