A Summer Silhouettes Birthday Card

Today's card comes to you from me!  Yup, an original!  I know, it's SO unheard of lately!  For a while there I thought I lost my creativity to make original cards.  I thought I was destined to copy other people's cards!!  But now and then I do get a spark of the creativity and I come up with something not found on the net yet! I'm sure my mojo will come back someday!

Today I thought I would play with the "Summer Silhouettes" set.  I SO love the Coastal Cabana color and I wanted to make a fun card with it.

I stamped the design on a strip of Whisper White and I trimmed it up to measure 1" x 4".  Then I added a strip behind it that measured 4" x 1-1/4".  I stamped the stems  using Wild Wasabi ink and the teeny flowers are done using Coastal Cabana.

I used the Modern Label punch and the Word Window punch.  The words are from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.

This is a super easy card to make!  And it can be used for other occasions too, like a Mother's Day card, a Sympathy card, a Thinking of You card, and even a Get Well card.  I love playing with this set.  It has not disappointed me yet!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
