Petite Petals Birthday Cards

I found a fun card made by Becky at Scrappin' and Stampin'. I thought it was unique and pretty at the same time.  I don't usually work with the grays much. Here Basic Gray and Smoky Slate are used, along with Marina Mist.

You can color the rhinestones using your new Blendabilities.  Now you can have matching rhinestones!!!  Throw some on anywhere on the card for a bit of added sparkle and color!

The words on this card are from the retired Family Reunion set.  I couldn't find any other words that would be large enough and still fit in that space.  I suppose I could have printed them out on my computer but I spend WAY too much time trying to find a font I would like to use.  Just go with a stamp you have that fits in the spot!!

A 2-1/8" circle was cut out of a stamped piece of Whisper White card stock. The Hardwood image was stamped in the Smoky Slate.  If you look at the original card, Becky's ink looks a bit lighter.  Either she stamped off once (which I doubt because it would be much lighter) or her ink pad is a bit lighter than mine.  But it really doesn't matter, both look great.

I set the flowers and the happy birthday word piece in place using Dimensionals.

This was a very simple and quick card to make.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
