A Flower Shop Birthday

The last day to play with Gingham Garden before it retires.  I thought it was such a fun and festive pack of paper.  And no, I did not use mine all up!  It is rare if I do that, but I do not hoard my papers anymore.  I do use them, I just don't use them up.  There's that fine line there of using them up and then wanting another pack.  So maybe subconsciously I just use enough of it to make me happy but not all of it so I won't feel sad it's gone or I won't have to purchase another pack???  I'm not sure what it is but all I know is, it's rare for me to use up a whole package of the paper!

For this card I used Strawberry Slush for the base.  On top of that is a piece of Whisper White using the Polka Dot background folder.  The Gingham Garden decorative paper was used on the next layer along with a layer of Strawberry Slush.

The words are from the Wetlands set. It's one of my favorite sets for words, mostly because I like the size and font.

I stamped the flower using Strawberry Slush and punched it out.  I set it in place using a Dimensional.  The center has a pearl that was colored using a black Sharpie marker.

This is a very easy and quick card to make.  And of course I had found it on the net.  You can view the original card here.  You won't see much of a difference, I pretty much copied it as it was.  I just liked it SO much!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
