A Simply Sketched Birthday

I found this fun card made by Ingrid at "The Creative Grove".  It just so happened that I had that stamp set sitting out.  Along with a dozen other ones but we won't talk about my poor cleaning up habits after a stamping project.  Or any other project to be honest!!! LOL

So, needless to say the stamp set was sitting out and was within reach!  I used the beautiful flower from the set and the set and the birthday words.  The original card was a beautiful Crisp Cantaloupe sympathy card.

I just loved the striking white look of this card.  It's the contrast of the minimal colors against the white.  I may have to make another one like this into a Mother's Day card.  It would be simple and quick enough to do.

The flower area measured 2" x 3-1/4".  The word piece was custom cut to fit the words used and the banner tips were cut in using the 1" square punch.  The base of the card is a half sheet of Whisper White card stock folded in half and the next layer was cut 1/4" less on two sides.

This would be a perfect Stamp a Stack card or layout for a Stamp a Stack.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
