A Flower Shop Birthday

I found a fun card to make while surfing the net.  I spend way to much time surfing and not enough time creating.  Does that sound familiar?  LOL

I found this fun card made by Kimberly at "Stampin' By the Sea". I did change the designer paper and the color of the flowers.  I didn't have the same designer paper she used so I used the paper from the new "Fresh Prints" pack.  And because I used the paper from that pack, I needed to change the color of the flowers so it matched.  Though I do wish I had turned my strip so the red in the decorative paper showed instead of getting lost behind the flowers.  Oh well, it's still pretty.

I added buttons to the center of all of the flowers and I  used the "Word Window" punch and the "Modern Label" punch for the words on the bottom of the card.

The base of my card is Soft Sky.  I used Coastal Cabana, Real Red and Crumb Cake ink for the flowers.  I used the "Flower Shop" stamp set and the matching punch.  I LOVE making quick flowers like that.  I could make a field of them using that punch!!!  The "Modern Mosaic" embossing folder was used for the top texture.  I loved the whole concept of Kimberly's card!!!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
