Halloween Hello Candy Holder Card Weekend Project

Ok, first of all the top photo doesn't do the card justice.  I couldn't get the think to stay shut so you could see the "Trick or Treat" words that are on the inside.  They lined up just along the edge of the front. But you can imagine it, right?

The inside has a little pocket to hold a Hershey bar.
I added some Washi tape to it and I stamped and cut out 3 skulls from the "Halloween Hello" set.

The front of the card has the owl in the tree from the "Best of Halloween" set.  I punched out a 1" circle and sponged in some Daffodil Delight to make a moon.

The measurements for this card are as follows:
Cut your card stock 6" wide x 7-3/4" long.
On the long side score the piece at 3-1/4" and 3-1/2"
Cut your decorative paper 6" x 3-9/16".

Tape the decorative paper in place then follow the instructions found here for cutting the tabs.
The Pumpkin Pie piece is cut 6-1/2" x 1-5/8".  Score at 1/4", 1/2", 6" and 6-1/4".  Decorate before adding to the inside of the card.

To add the strip to the inside of the card just glue the end scored piece to the inside of the card.  Make sure you line up the bottom edge with the second score mark on the card.  Repeat for the other side.  With this piece right at the score line on the card the candy bar won't fall out.

Tape the little ends of the candy bar to the back of the bar.  You don't want them sticking out.  The candy bar looks better in the pocket with those ends taped back.

Decorate it as you please!  It's a lot of fun and SO cute!

Just a little note here:  This card is a little longer than the regular handmade greeting cards but that's ok, you can use your new Envelope Maker and make a fabulous envelope for it yourself!!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
