Flowering Flourishes Flower Shop

I like it when I can take a stamp set and make a card that will fit into any season.  I took the "Flowering Flourishes" and colored in the images with markers.  I used Always Artichoke and Pumpkin Pie.  It doesn't get much closer to fall than that!!!

I was going to just punch out some little flowers to cover the little ones on the flourish but I decided to go ahead and go BIG!  I used the flower from the "Morning Meadow" set.  I stamped it using Pumpkin Pie in and then I punched the images out.  I punched out a tiny Chocolate Chip flower for the center.  Once I got it in place I thought it looked too dark and blah so I added a punched white circle.  That made the center look too bright.  So I thought I would tone it down a bit by taking the Chocolate Chip marker and dotting the center.  That did the trick!

The words are from the "Simply Sketched" set.  I love the size words in that set.  Though usually I layer them but for this card I wanted the focal point to be the two flowers on the top.  Are your eyes drawn to those two flowers?  If so then I did my job right!! LOL

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
