Mixed Bouquet ala Rock n Roll n Roll Technique

I have not done the Rock n Roll technique in a long time.  I don't know why, it's easy and quick enough.  You just stamp your image with a light color and take the darker color and roll the image along the edges to pick up a bit of ink and then stamp.  Not hard at all!!!

This card is one of those that you can whip up in no time.  I used a 2" strip of decorative paper at the bottom.  My color here is Strawberry Slush.  The ink I used for the flower is Daffodil Delight and then the Strawberry Slush on the edges.  I punched it out and set it in place using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Express Yourself" set and I stamped them using Chocolate Chip ink.  Black just seemed too dark for this pretty flower.

Notice the center of the flower?  I made that using the rose mold and clay I colored using Strawberry Slush ink refill.  Wear gloves when you mix the ink with the clay.  Once it's mixed then you can use your bare hands and they don't get stained.  The flower in the center added a lot to the card.  Those flowers are easy to do and don't take long.  I do allow them to dry overnight before I use them though.  The buttons take a lot longer to make.  I have a lot of trouble with them distorting if I take them out of the mold right away.  So I just let them dry in the mold.  I make more flowers than I do the buttons because of that.

Ok, back to the card.  I had done a Google Images search the other day and this is one of the cards that came up and I liked it so I left the window open so I would remember to copy it.  Once again there is no name to go with the photo.  So if this is your card, please let me know so I can give you credit and a link back to your blog.

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
