Secret Garden CASE

I found the most awesome card on the net and I had to make one.  Though I did have some issues with it but I managed to work around them.  I found the card here at Sandy's "Udderly Awesome Stamping from the Heart" blog.

The original card appears to be done on just 1/2 sheet of card stock.  I was not able to fit the "Needlepoint" embossing folder in my machine sideways.  I'm assuming that it needed to be put in that way to get the embossing on both sides of the center panel.  What I ended up doing was embossing the pieces on the card stock but I had it cut so I could fit it in my machine.  Now my machine may be the problem.  I have a Big Kick, it was the machine that came out before the Big Shot.  I'm assuming the Big Shot is a bit wider on the inside than mine.  And mine only needed  to be about 1/4" wider.  Even with that issue I can't justify buying a new machine.  This one has worked just fine for all these years an until it breaks beyond repair I will be sticking with it.  These machines are not cheap!  So I am making do with what I have.

The difference between the two cards is that mine is done on a separate piece and set in place using Dimensionals.  I think it's still a stunning card.  I like it!!  This was an easy card to do, it was fun and it's VERY pretty!  It's a very versatile design too.  It can be used as a birthday, get well, thank you, thinking of you and even a sympathy card.  You know how much I LOVE versatility!!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
