A Field Flowers Birthday Card

When the "Field Flowers" set came out a while back I knew I just had to buy it. I saw SO many possibilities in this set and I continue to.  This layout/design is not mine.  I found it at Terry's "Going Over the Bridge" blog.  She posted it back in June of 2011.  I ran across it in Pinterest and thought I would give it a try.  Some had posted under the photo "use different colors," so I did.  I used Cherry Cobbler.  It seems to be my favorite color lately!!!  And get this, I actually had the seam binding ribbon to match!!! I actually had a current ribbon!!! LOL

I thought this card was fun and easy to do.  I didn't have to make any adjustments.  Though I do wish I would have moved the flower over to the left a bit more.  But if you don't compare it to Terry's card then you won't see the difference!  Well, there is a big difference, her card is done in black and white, which is just as stunning!  I do SO love black and white cards and of course the white on white.  And now I am really liking the Cherry Cobbler on white!!

The wording is from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.  One of my favorite word sets!!

This card went together quickly too, in spite of having to cut that little flower but by hand.  It was small enough and I only made two cards so I can't complain about the little cutting I had to do!  When I see this card the word "fun" comes to mind.  Also "pretty", "quick" and "easy"!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
