Flower Fancy Wednesday Sketch Challenge

It feels like it's been forever since I did the Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I'm sure it was just a couple of weeks but it feels SO much longer than that. I LOVE doing these but lately I have been finding that I don't always have the time to play along when it comes around. I almost didn't participate in the sketch this week (again). Not because I didn't have the time but because I didn't have a clue to what I was going to do. I thought I lost my mojo but I guess it's still there. I wanted to make a card that would be simple enough to duplicate for a greeting card set and I do believe this one fits the bill! It didn't take long to make, it was simple and didn't require a lot of stuff to make it. Keeping it simple is what it's all about for me lately!

If you have time give this sketch a try.  There's not a lot to it and it can be used with LOTS of images, the #3 panel is pretty large.

The base of my card is Cherry Cobbler.  The #2 panel is done using Cherry Cobbler ink and one of the flowers from the stamp set.

The flower in the #3 panel was stamped using black StazOn and colored in with markers and a blender pen.

The scallop and circles were punched and the Happy Birthday words were done on the computer.

Oh and the Lattice textured background is an embossing folder.  And that is it.  Quick, simple, easy and clean!  And get this, I didn't even copy this card! It's been awhile since I've come up with something on my own.  SO I guess the mojo is still there!!!

Be sure to stop back tomorrow, I am working on a very fun project that would be fun gifts for several occasions and holidays!

Thank you SO much for stopping by today,
Wanda
