Super Quick Valentine's Day Card

This is a fun layout that you can make a lot of in a short time. It is also a great layout for your other stamping events. Straighten

I used the new Stampin' Up! "I (Love) Love" jumbo wheel and the "I (Heart) Hearts" set. I wheeled on the words using Real Red ink. I cut that piece of white card stock 2-1/8" and the black layer behind it was cut 2-1/4". The heart was made using the new heart punch. It was used after the words were stamped. Sponge it with Real Red ink. For the ruffle behind the heart I used a 1-3/8" circle punch on a piece of black card stock. Then I used the scalloped circle punch and lined up the center of the punched circle and punched it out. Just cut the scalloped ring you formed and take each bump and straighten it out. Then affix it to the back of the heart around the edges. The base of the card is a half sheet of Real Red folded in half. I wheeled on the same words using Real Red ink. You could use VersaMark but why? The wheel already has red ink on it and I think the red on red shows up better than VersaMark on red would.

Once you tape your layers together, tape them on top of the red card stock. Tape the heart in place using Dimensionals and the card is done! Super easy, super fun and super cute. It's just SUPER!!!

Notice the two different ways I did the card. Well, this is because the one with the heart on the top had a inking error. I had the wheel going in the wrong direction and I had to cover it up. And I actually like that one better than the one with the heart on the bottom. It's amazing what you can find when you cover a mistake! Fortunately this was a mistake that I was able to cover. Some I'm not so lucky!

Thank you SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
