Wednesday Sketch Challenge

This weeks Sketch Challenge over at SplitCoastStampers was a lot of fun! I got to use my new Stampin' Up! "Wandering Words" set. I just love the Santa in this set and now I can't wait to play with the other two images!

For my card I punched out a 1" circle and stuck it to the white card stock with removable tape. Then I sponged in some Brocade Blue, then some Brilliant Blue and finally some Night of Navy. I used a tree from the "Lovely as a Tree" set and stamped it in with Handsome Hunter ink. I layered that on top of a piece of decorative paper I had gotten in a pack of winter papers from Wal-Mart. I layered that on top of a piece of Handsome Hunter card stock and then I taped those layers to a piece of white card stock I ran through the "Snowflakes" image Cuttlebug folder.

I added a snowflake brad on the bottom and I punched out a snowflake using a Martha Stewart punch. In the center of that punch I added a clear rhinestone.

I had fun with this sketch. I SO look forward to these sketches every week and I am thrilled when I actually have some time to play along! Play with the sketch if you have time, it's fun to play with different layouts!

Thanks SO much for visiting today,
Wanda
