Wild Bunch, Scalloped Wishes, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun friendship card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 2-1/8" x 5" piece of Calypso Coral card stock and textured it using the "Lazy Daisy" embossing folder. I glued it to the right side of the card base.

Then I cut 1-3/4" x 5" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Paper Medley" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to the left side of the card base.

Next I stamped the snail from the "Wild Bunch" stamp set using Basic Black hybrid ink. I colored the body of the snail using light Crumb Cake Blends and then added a little highlights using the dark Crumb Cake Blends.

The body of the snail was colored using the light Petal Pink Blends and I covered the whole shell. Then I took my dark Calypso Coral Blends and colored the stripes on the shell. And on each side of the stripes I used the light Calypso Coral Blends to add a bit more color to it.

The words are from the "Scalloped Circles" bundle using the same Basic Black ink. I cut it out using the 2nd largest rectangle die from the "Stylish Shapes" set. I also cut a Petal Pink piece using the same size die. I taped the pieces together. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set in place on the center of the card.  And the card was done.

This was a super quick and easy card to make. Such a cute little snail in that set!

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
