The first thing I did was I took a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock and I glued on a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock that I textured using the "Lazy Daisy" embossing folder. I set it under my stamping mat to lay flat while it dried.
Then I took my package of "Days Like This Memories & More" and took out two of the butterfly pieces. One of the reasons I was happy to have found this card on Pinterest was because I thought that piece was a bit busy and wasn't sure how I was going to work with it. When I stumbled upon this card I knew I had to make one.
I fussy cut three of the butterflies out. There were two of them that I saved for another card. Dimensionals were added to the back of the butterflies and they were set in place on top of the matching butterflies. I cut a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Pool Party card stock for the layer and I taped the butterfly piece to the Pool Party piece.
The words were made next. I stamped them using Basic Black ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I used the "Three Banner" to punch them out.
I glued the butterfly piece on the front of the card. The words were set in place with Dimensionals and the card was done.
Even with the fussy cutting of the butterflies, this was a pretty quick card to make. Sometimes it doesn't matter how long fussy cutting takes when you really like the card you are putting together!

Great way to use that butterfly paper. I love when I can fussy-cut an image and pop it up on top of a replica image. It adds so much dimension to a card.
