The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Petal Pink card stock for the largest layer. On top of that is a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of DSP from the "Lovely & Beautiful" package. I taped it to the Petal Pink piece.
The Basic White card stock was cut at 2-1/2" x 3-3/4". It was sitting on my worktable so I thought I would use it. It was textured using the "Damask Designs" embossing folder. I inked up my dauber with Petal Pink ink and lightly brushed it across the texture. I taped this piece to a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Calypso Coral card stock. Dimensionals were added to the back of the piece and it was set in the center of the card.
The flowers were stamped next. They are from the "Impressions Abloom" bundle using Petal Pink ink for the solid part and Calypso Coral for the details. I cut them out with the matching dies. I stamped the leaves in the same way using Granny Apple Green ink. I glued the smaller flower down first and then glued a leaf to the back of it. Dimensionals were added to the back of the large flower and it was set in place on the front of the card. I glued two leaves to the back of the large flower.
The words are from the "Lovely Arrangements" bundle and were stamped using Calypso Coral ink and cut with a die from the bundle. Dimensionals were set on the back, mostly in the middle and it was set in place on the front of the card.
I added three brass butterflies to the front and the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. I love how bright and cheery it looks.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
