The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is o the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and I textured it using the "Stone & Vine" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card.
The Flirty Flamingo piece was leftover from the card I made a couple of days ago. I used the "Irresistible Designs" 12" x 12" package. I had colored it using a blending brush and Flirty Flamingo ink. My piece measures 4" x 2-1/4". I glued it to the left side of the card about 1/2" on the three sides.
The "Hello" is from the "Fragrant Layers" bundle and were stamped on a piece of Basic White card stock that was cut from the "Banner Sayings" bundle. I stamped the "Hello" using black Memento ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set aside.
The watering can is from the "Easter Time" mix & match ephemera pack. There's a lot of fun Easter and springtime images in this package. I have plans for several other images too. I'm going to be needing a few Easter cards (before Easter - hopefully! LOL) so I will be sharing them with you in the near future. Anyway, I added Dimensionals to the back of the watering can and I set it in place on the front of the card about 1" from the bottom and at the handle, it's 1/2" from the right edge. I added the watering can first so I could see where the word piece would go.
Next I added the word piece. And for a final touch I added hearts from the "Loose Valentine's" assortment. I glued them in place and the card was done. I thought they were a nice touch. I will probably be using these a bit more because you get a LOT of them in a container and I'd like to use up as much as I can. I need to find a way to make a cute shaker card, that would use up quite a bit of the container!
This was a very quick, easy and fun card to make.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
