Banner Sayings, Easter Time Ephemera, Wooly Friends, Friendship Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a friendship card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.  Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock that was textured using the "Stone & Vine" embossing folder. I glued it to the front of the card.

Next I took a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Love Notes" 6" x 6" stack and cut it at. 5-1/4" long and it was already cut at 2".  It was leftover from a previous card.  I taped it to a 5-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock and glued it to the front of the card about 1/2" up from the bottom edge of the card.

The ring of flowers is from the "Easter Time" mix & match ephemera package. I popped it out of one of the sheets and added Dimensionals to the back. I set it in place on the front of the card about 1/4" from the left edge and about 7/8" from the bottom edge.

The words are from the "Wooly Friends" set and were stamped using Gorgeous Grape ink on Basic White card stock. I cut them out using one of the dies in the "Banner Sayings" bundle.  I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the front of the card about 5/8" up from the bottom edge and about 1/4" from the right edge.

I thought the piece could use a little bling so I added a brass butterfly. And that was it, the card was done.

This was a pretty quick and easy card to make. Which I was glad of today because I spent the day with my two sisters and a cousin shopping.  And no, I did not buy and stamps (which they had some) or yarn (which they did not have any)! We went to a store called "Unclaimed Freight".  I had never been there before but my two sisters go there a couple times a year.  It's huge and we were in there for 2 hours!  I was exhausted but it was fun.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's friendship card,
Wanda
