The base of my card is a 4-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock.
I cut a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Lovely & Beautiful" 12" x 12" package. I taped it to the cut piece of Basic White card stock.
I cut a 4-1/4" x 9" piece of Fresh Freesia card stock. I scored it at 3" and 6". The section the left is a mountain fold and the next section is a valley fold. Once folded there will be a right fold on the top and a left fold on the bottom.
I cut a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock and stamped the flower from the "Fragrant Layers" bundle using black Memento ink. I colored the flowers using my Blends pens. I used both light and dark, Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green and the light Daffodil Delight for the flower centers. I sponged some Fresh Freesia ink on the edges and then I lightly sponged over the white area around the flowers because it looked to bright. I needed to tone it down a bit. (I had to use a paperclip to hold the card shut for the photo).
Then on the final side of this folded piece I added a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock to write on. I did stamp "Happy Birthday" from the "Charming Day" set with black Memento ink. And the card was done.
I've made these gift card holders before and I think they are fun and quick to do.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday gift card holder,
Wanda
