Spooky Halloween, Spooky Sweet, Halloween Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have another fun Halloween card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock and stamped the bats on it from the "Spooky Halloween" bundle. I used black Memento in to do that and I just randomly stamped them all over the piece. I taped that piece to the front of the card base.

I had two scrap pieces of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Spooky Sweet" 12" x 12" package. They measured 4" x 1-1/2" and the Basic Black layer behind it measures 4-1'4" x 1-3/4". I taped the pieces together. I taped the left one to the front of the card on first. It's about 1/4" from the top and from the fold.

The second strip was taped down about 1" down from the top and 1-1/4" from the fold.

I popped out the cauldron from a fun sheet in the DSP package. I also popped out the candy corns and bats.

Using my x-acto knife I cut a slit in the cauldron and taped the candy corns in place. I added Dimensionals to the cauldron and set it in place on the front of the card. It's about 3/4" from the bottom edge of the card and 3/4" from the right side. Once the cauldron was set in place I added a candy corn to the bottom right using a Dimensional.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the bats and they were set in place.

The word is from the same "Spooky Halloween" bundle and was stamped using black Memento ink on Basic White card stock. I fussy cut it, added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on the upper part of the card. And the card was done.

This was a very fun card to make. It's quick and easy too!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Halloween card,
Wanda
