Charming Day, Floral Charm, Sentimental Framing, Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a thank you card to share with you. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Blackberry Bliss card stock. It opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top. I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and taped it to the inside.

I cut a quarter sheet of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Damask Design" embossing folder. I trimmed it to 4" x 5-1/4" and glued it to the front of the card with equal spacing all around.

Next I cut my Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Floral Charm" 12" x 12" package. The pieces measure 2" x 4" and two cut at 1" x 4".  The two pieces on the sides are the backside of the center piece.

I glued the center piece in place first. It's about 1-3/4" from either side. Then the other two strips were glued in place on each side of the center piece.

The words are from the "Sentimental Framing" bundle. I die cut the piece first and then stamped the words. If you stamp the words first you won't be able to see them through the metal plate. They were stamped on Basic White card stock using Blackberry Bliss ink. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the center of the card.

I had die cut a couple of leaf sets from the "Charming Day" bundle using Mossy Meadow card stock. Glue was added on the last two leaves and set in place under the upper left corner of the word piece. And the card was done.

This was a fun, quick and easy card to make. It's a great way to use up some smaller pieces of DSP!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
