The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and I textured it on using my scoring tool. I turned the piece over and scored on the left side about 1/4" from the edge. I scored 1/4" from the top and bottom. The score lines are 1/8" apart. I made 5 of them. I repeated that for the bottom.
I turned the piece over and stamped the "Thank you" from the "With You in Mind" set using black Memento ink. I added Dimensionals to the back of the piece and I set it in place on the front of the card.
The flower is from the "Charming Day" bundle. I stamped it using black Memento ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I cut it out using the matching die. I also cut out two leaf branches and I set those aside. Using both light and dark Blends pens I colored the leaves with Granny Apple Green and the flower with Poppy Parade. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was set on top of the scored piece. I didn't press down because the leaf branches needed to be tucked in. I added a little glue to the ends of the leaf branches and slipped them under the flower piece on both sides. Then I glued one leaf on each of the sets. If you look hard you can see the leaf that is not sticking up in the air, that's the ones glued down! And that was it, the card was done.
This was a super quick and easy card to make. Of all the pieces to it, I think the flower with leaves took the longest because of the coloring. Everything else was super quick. I can see myself making more like this. It was fun and quick.
Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thank you card,
Wanda
