Heartfelt Hexagon, Flight & Airy, Sympathy Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a pretty card to share with you that I found on Pinterest. You can see the original card here. Please read on to see how it's made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the right.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Flight & Airy" 12" x 12" package. The two top strips are cut at 1-1/4" x 4" and the middle piece is the other side of the birds piece and was cut at 2-1/2" x 4". I taped those pieces to the front of the card.

Using Fresh Freesia ink I stamped the words from the "Heartfelt Hexagon" set on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. punched them out using the matching hexagon punch. The two design pieces at the top and bottom of the hexagon were added after it was punched out. Then I set the place on the front of the card using Dimensionals.  A few pearls were added to the front and the card was done.

This is a very super quick and easy card to make. I like this layout and may try it out on some other DSP, it's a great way to use it up.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's sympathy card,
Wanda

  1. Love that Flight & Airy dsp and am really glad I decided to get that punch. The paper is a reminder that Spring will come......eventually.
