The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.
I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock that I textured with the "Snowflake Sky" embossing folder. I glued it to the card base.
Next I stamped the gingerbread man from the "Sending Cheer" bundle. I used Pecan Pie ink for the body and Craft White ink for the face. I didn't like how light it looked so I took my white gel pen and colored over the area. I die cut it with the matching die. When I die cut the gingerbread man I also die cut the hearts using a scrap Real Red card stock. I glued them onto the gingerbread man.
For the little envelope from the same set, I stamped it using Balmy Blue ink that I had stamped off once. The piece was die cut with the matching die. I cut the top triangle off and set it aside. Then I die cut the envelope piece again using Balmy Blue card stock. I taped the stamped envelope to the Balmy Blue piece. I glued the sides and bottom edges.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Joy of Christmas" 12" x 12" package and was cut at 4" x 2-3/4". I glued it to the front of the card.
I slipped the gingerbread man into the envelope and glued the envelope only in place. I removed the gingerbread man and then I glued on that triangle piece I had cut off. I added a little glue to the gingerbread man's legs and slipped him in the envelope.
The words are from the same set and were stamped using Real Red ink. I punched them out using the "Double Oval" punch. The scalloped oval is from the same punch using Shaded Spruce card stock. I taped the two pieces together. Dimensionals were added to the back and the piece was set in place on the front of the card.
I added a few crystal rhinestones to the front. I had colored them using my dark Real Red Blends pen. And the card was done.
This was a fun card to make and it didn't take long at all.
