Textured Floral, Go To Greetings, Thinking of You Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. I saw a card on Pinterest and thought I'd give it a try. I didn't have the dies that were used so I made do with what I have. You can see the original card here, it's a quick video clip. Those are fun but provide no measurements.  Please read on to see how I made this card.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Crumb Cake card stock. It opens on the right and the fold is on the left.  A 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock was taped to the inside.

I cut two pieces of Basic White card stock, one measuring 4" x 5-1/4" and the other at 3-7/8" x 5-1/8".  I took the smaller piece and used a Blending brush to scrub on some Crumb Cake ink. I had taken a scrap piece of card stock and die cut using the 2-7/16" circle die from the "Layering Circles" die set. It's the third largest die. I used this circle as a template because I didn't have the circle stamp. Making the best of what I have and it worked.

After scrubbing the ink on the circle I stamped the words from the "Go To Greetings" set using black Memento ink.

Then I die cut the branch of leaves from the "Textured Floral" bundle on some Mossy Meadow card stock. This piece was then glued to the front of the card. I added a tiny dot of glue to each leaf and then set the piece in place.

A double bow of linen thread was tied and was added using a glue dot.

Then this piece was taped to the other Basic White piece and then that was set on the Crumb Cake card base using Dimensionals. And the card was done.

This was a very fun, quick, and easy card to make.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's thinking of you card,
Wanda
