Let's Go Fishing, Go To Greetings, Masculine Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I have a fun and easy masculine birthday card for you. Masculine cards are hard to come by in handmade cards.  I try to find fun sets that are versatile but I have to like the set too or I don't buy it because I know I won't enjoy playing with it and it will get shelved.  I did not buy the fishing bundle set this time around but I did order the "Let's Go Fishing" 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP).  Please read on to see how I made today's card.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Very Vanilla card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I cut a 5-1/4" x 2-1/8" piece of DSP from the "Let's Go Fishing" package and I taped it to the upper part of the card base.

Next I took the sheet that was full of fish and I fussy cut a fish. The fish was taped to a Very Vanilla "Tailor Made Tags" die using Very Vanilla card stock. Then I took the next size larger tag from the set and die cut a Mossy Meadow one. I taped the two tags together.

I set the tag on top of the front of the card for placement of the words. The words are from the "Go To Greetings" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink.

Dimensionals were added to the back of the tags and they were set in place on the front of the card, centering it as much as I could by eyeing it and the card was done.

This was a super quick and easy masculine card. I can see making some Father's Day cards next year using these fish!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's masculine birthday card,
Wanda
