Sentimental Park, Masterfully Made, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

Hello! I'm happy you are here to see today's card. It's a fun and quick card too. This is a perfect way to use up some little scraps, especially if you are one of those who doesn't get rid of their scraps. Please read on to see how it was made.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic white card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is from the "Masterfully Made" 12" x 12" package.  My piece measures 2" x 2".

The Basic White piece of card stock on top of the DSP measures 1-1/8" and the Misty Moonlight card stock was cut at 1" x 1".  If I were to make another one I think I would cut the Basic White piece at 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" so it would show a little better.  After cutting the Misty Moonlight card stock I took a small die cut from the "Sentimental Park" bundle and cut the small flower from the middle of the piece.

I cut some Dimensionals into smaller pieces and put one on each corner of the Misty Moonlight piece. I set that on top of the Basic White piece and then that was taped to the DSP.

The piece was set on top of the card base for placement so I could see where the words needed to go. The words are from the "Sentimental Park" bundle and were stamped using black Memento ink.

After stamping the words I set the layered piece in place. To finish off the piece I added a little rhinestone to the upper left corner and the card was done.

See, it's very simple and quick. This could be used for a number of occasions and you can enlarge the center pieces to fit with other dies too.  But I do recommend making the Basic White layer a little larger so it shows better.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's birthday card,
Wanda

  2. What a fun way to use a really small scrap! I don't usually keep them that small, but I do have a hard time throwing away some pieces. I put them in little zip lock bags and keep them in the package with the dsp. Great CAS card!
