Grassy Grove, Framed & Festive, Christmas Card, Stampin' Up!

I had to make one more card using the deers from the "Grassy Grove" bundle. I found another card on Pinterest, though it was not made using Stampin' Up! images, I used what I had and converted it. I forgot to add the link to the original card. You can see it here

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White card stock for the top focal piece.

The left and bottom edges of the focal piece were masked off at 3/4" each.

Taking my Blending Brush I scrubbed on some Flirty Flamingo in the bottom corner. Then I scrubbed on some Mango Melody and using the brush almost dry of Mango Melody, I continued to scrub more up into the sky, making sure I kept it at an angle.

The tree from the "Grassy Grove" set was stamped using black Memento ink.  I didn't add snow to this one because the sky didn't look like it is snowing, it looks like the sun is setting.

I die cut the smaller deer for this card. The larger deer was just a bit too big for the words I wanted to add.

The words are from the "Framed & Festive" set and were stamped using black Memento ink and then the deer was added using a couple of small Dimensionals.

I added Dimensionals to the back of the focal piece and set it in place on the front of the card base and the card was done.

This was a very quick and easy card to make and I got what I was looking for.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Christmas card,
Wanda
