Sweet Songbirds, Art Gallery, Birthday Card, Stampin' Up!

I found today's card on the blog "Kards by Kadie". You can see the original card here

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 5-1/2" x 2" piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the 2022-2024 in color stack. I used the Starry Sky color. I taped it in place on the front of the card about 1/4" from the fold.

Next I die cut a Starry Sky card stock circle using the new "Stylish Shapes" dies. I used the second largest circle one for this.

I punched the bird using Tahitian Tide card stock. Then I punched the belly part using Basic White card stock and the beak was punched using Crushed Curry card stock.  Now I did not know that piece on the belly was the belly, I though it was a larger wing. Now I know!!!  LOL I sponged the bird using Tahitian Tide ink and the belly was sponged using Daffodil Delight ink. I stamped the eyes using black Memento ink. I taped the pieces to the bird in place. Dimensionals were added to the back of the bird and the bird was set in place on the circle.

I set the circle on the piece but did not affix it. I needed to see where the words were going to go.  The words are stamped using the "Art Gallery Set" and were stamped using Starry Sky ink.

I stamped the musical notes from the "Sweet Songbirds" set using black Memento ink.

The circle was set in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.

This was a very fun card to make. This is a fun set to play with.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop  by and see today's birthday card,
Wanda
