Lovely & Lasting, Hues of Happiness, Thinking of You Card, Stampin' Up!

I had a scrap piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Hues of Happiness" 12" x 12" package.  I tend to have lots of scraps and I tend to not use them. This one fell out of the package when I was pulling out a different sheet. So I took it as an omen and thought I should make it into a card. I like this particular strip because it's so colorful, so bright and cheery.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and textured it using the "Pretty Flowers" embossing folder. I glued this to the front of the card base.

The DSP measured 4-3/4" x 2" and the Basic White layer behind it measures 5" x 2-1/4". I taped the two pieces together and then set it on the left side of the card using Dimensionals.

The words are from the "Lovely & Lasting" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. They were punched out using the "Lasting Label" punch. I put tape on the left side and Dimensionals on the right side and I set it in place on the card.  And that was it.  Super easy. Super quick. And super cheery!!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Thinking of You card,
Wanda
