Snowflake Wishes, Christmas Thank You Card, Stampin' Up!

I ran across this pretty snowflake card on Pinterest. I love snowflakes and this is such a pretty set. You can see the original card here.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the bottom and the fold is on the top.

I die cut the opening using the die from the "So Many Snowflakes" die set. Then I textured it using the "Wintry 3D" embossing folder. It doesn't fit the whole 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" area so I had to emboss what I could first and then slid the card stock in on the other side to catch the rest of the untextured area.  It worked and you can hardly tell.  If you place the snowflakes just right (I didn't) you wouldn't be able to tell at all!  But it's still pretty.

The Pool Party snowflakes were die cut to be used on the front. But before I added them, I cut a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Vellum.  I cut it just a hair shorter than those measurements so it wouldn't hang over on any of the sides.

The words are from the "Snowflake Wishes" set and I stamped them using Night of Navy ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock. I die cut them using the smallest "Stitched Circle" die (retired). I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on top of the vellum.

I added a little bit of glue to the snowflakes and set them in place on the front of the card.

Then I colored some tiny rhinestones using my dark Pool Party Blends Pen and set them in place on the card. I colored a total of 8 rhinestones.  And that was it. It's a very quick, easy and simple card to make. And just change the words in the center and make a pretty Christmas card!!!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop in and see today's Thank You card,
Wanda
