Art Gallery, Fall Birthday Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

Today I thought I would make another fall card. I thought the "Art Gallery" set would be a great place to start. I have made many cards using this set but for fall ones, not so much. Probably because the set was in the catalog that came out in May!  That may have had something to do with it! LOL

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Cajun Craze. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock. Actually, I cut two, one for the front and one for the inside. I taped both of them in their respective places.

Then I cut a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic White and textured it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I glued it on top of the Basic White piece that I had previously taped down.

Then I cut a 3" x 4" piece of Basic White card stock and a 3-1/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Cajun Craze card stock for the top layers.

I took some larger scrap pieces and stamped the flower from the "Art Gallery" set using Cajun Craze ink. I stamped off on the larger more solid piece and I just stamped full on ink with the detail image. Then I stamped the leaves and stem using Mossy Meadow ink. I die cut the two together.  I added Dimensionals to the back of both. I lined them up on the Basic White piece to see where the wording was going to go.

The words were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. After the words were stamped I set the flower and stem piece in place.  I colored some rhinestones using the dark Cajun Craze Blends pen. I set three of them on the center of the flower.

I added Dimensionals to the top piece and set it in place on the front of the card.  And that was it. This was a very fun and quick card to make. Plus it's a nice fall looking card too!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's fall card,
Wanda
