Banner Year, Peaceful Prints, Masculine Christmas Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I had forgotten I had the "Peaceful Prints" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and when I ran across it today I thought I'd look for a card to make using it. And I found this one here.  I did make a few minor changes.

The base of the cardstock is a folded half-sheet of Basic Black. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

The DSP was cut at 5-1/2" x 3-1/4".  I taped it to the front of the card.

Then I took some Real Red ribbon I had on hand. There was just enough on the spool to wrap it around the card (which I hate to do because it wastes so much ribbon but I had no choice here) and I tied it in a knot. My knot didn't want to sit nice so I used some small glue dots behind and around it. No one will ever know! Plus it holds the ribbon in place.

The words are from the "Banner Year" set and were stamped using Real Red ink on a scrap piece of Basic White card stock.  I die cut them using a die from the "Ornate Frames" pack.

I cut two Basic Black pieces from the same die. I added tape to the word piece and off set it on one of the Basic Black pieces at the top and then added tape to that and off set it on the bottom. Dimensionals were added behind the piece and it was set in place on the front of the card.  And that was it.

As I was looking at my card I thought that some rhinestones might look cute in the center of some or all of the snowflakes on the card. But then again I was thinking what a great masculine card this is and bling might not be the way to go!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's masculine Christmas card,
Wanda
