Cutest Halloween, Kid Friendly Halloween Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog

I was working on a Halloween card I saw on Pinterest that I thought was so cute. It used the adorable images from the "Cute Halloween" 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP) stack. I'm trying to make all the cards I can with this stack because I have yet to use up an entire stack of any DSP that I've purchased and I'm working hard on this one!! Wish me luck! LOL  Anyway, I had punched out a cat and a ghost and a pumpkin and I was getting ready to assemble the card when my memory finally worked and I realized I had made that card a few weeks ago. UGH. SO plan B. I didn't have a plan B so I sat there for a bit just looking at the pieces and this is what I came up with.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens at the bottom and the fold is at the top.

On the card I was originally going to make the DSP from the "Cute Halloween" stack was cut at 2" x 5-1/2" and taped to the bottom of the card. I had already done that and I even added the gingham ribbon. I glued the ribbon on because I didn't wrap it around the card, I just glued it and snipped the ends.  Once I got that far on the card I began to realize that I had already made this card. So here's plan B.

I took the one ghost I had punched out and I fussy cut the other two.  I set the top two ghosts on to see where the words could go and still have room. The words are from the "Cutest Halloween" set and were stamped using Pumpkin Pie ink.

The ghosts were set in place using Dimensionals and the card was done.  I was thinking that I should have scrubbed in some Smoky Slate on the upper part using one of the Blending Brushes.  But all white will work too.  It's a kid friendly card so I left it at that.

This was a fun card to make and I am happy with my plan B!

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's Halloween card!
