All Things Fabulous, Art Gallery, Thinking of You Card, 2021-2022 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I tought the card I found today was so elegant looking and of course, I just had to make one. You can see the original card here

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White card stock and texture it using the "Painted Texture" embossing folder. I just love the look of this folder.  The original card left that layer plain but I thought it could use some texture. I taped this to the card base, actually I glued it because I have trouble with tape sticking on textured pieces.

Next I die cut the lacy looking piece from a piece of Basic White card stock. It came from the "Fabulous Florals" dies.  I glued this piece in place. The center of each square has a solid area to add a dot of glue to and set it in place. It's set about 3/8" up and 3/8" over from the textured piece.

The flowers are from the "All Things Fabulous" set and were stamped using Highland Heather ink for the main part and Gorgeous Grape ink for the centers. Then they were die cut and set aside. When the flowers were being die cut, I also die cut the leaves from the sides of the BaicWhite piece. You need four for this card.

The Pool Party image is from the same "All Things Fabulous" set and after stamping were die cut out. You need three for this card.

Next I took some gold cording and I made the loops and set them in place with a few glue dots. Sometimes I will add a little glue or even use scotch tape to hold them down.

The flowers were set in place using Dimensionals. Make sure you don't add any Dimensionals to the left side of the right flower or it will stick up funny. This side of the flower needs to be taped to the top of the left flower.

I used glue to slip the white leaves in place and I also used glue to slip the  Pool Party flowers in place.

The words are from the "Art Gallery" set and were stamped using Soft Suede ink and were die cut using the die from the "Art Gallery" bundle. Then they were set in place with a Dimensional on each end and doublesided tape in the middle and the card was done.

I REALLY like how this card turned out. I love how elegant it looks. It could be a nice wedding, anniversary, thank you, birthday, get well, Mother's Day and of course thinking of  you.  It's such a versatile card and stamp set.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to stop by and see today's elegant and versatile card,
Wanda
