Sweet Strawberry, Thank You Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

The "Sweet Strawberry" set is such a fun and cute set. I love the spring feel it has to it.  I found this card on Pinterest and you can see the original card here.

The orientation of my card is different than the original.  This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left. I used Garden Green for the base of my card.

The Poppy Parade layer is cut at 3-3/4" x 5" and the Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the "Berry Delightful" 12" x 12" package was cut at 3-5/8" x 4-7/8". I taped these two pieces together and then I tied a piece of linen tread around them and tied it in a bow.

The Basic White focal panel was cut at 3-3/8" x 2-3/8" and the Poppy Parade piece was cut at 3-3/4" x 2-3/4". The words are from the same "Sweet Strawberry" set and were stamped using Poppy Parade ink. The two layers were taped together.  I added Dimensionals to the back and set it in place on top of the card.

The images are from the "Sweet Strawberry" set and were punched out using the matching punch. I stamped the strawberry outline using Poppy Parade ink and I stamped the solid part using Poppy Parade ink on one and then, without inking the image again I stamped it on the other so there would be a light and a dark strawberry.

The stems were stamped using Granny Apple Green for the outline and for the solid part. They were glued to the tops of the strawberries.

The leaves were stamped the same way using Granny Apple Green ink.

The flowers were stamped the same way but using Blushing Bride, Pacific Point, and Seaside Spray inks.

The pieces were taped in place except for two of the flowers, they were set in place using a Dimensional.

Pearls were added to the center of three of the flowers and a few red rhinestones were added on the white part and that was it.

This was a very fun card to make. I love how cheery it looks. It would make a wonderful get well card too. It's just got such a happy feel to it.

Thank you SO very much for taking your time to look at my cheery card today,
Wanda
