Peaceful Moments, Hydrangea Hill DSP, Sympathy Card, 2021 Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog

I was cleaning off a space on my worktable.  It was only a space, not the whole table (which needs it badly!) and I had two pieces of scrap from the "Hydrangea Hill" Designer Series Paper (DSP) 12" x 12" pack. I was going to put them in recycling but I had picked them up pretty much the way you see them on the card and thought that they would work together well and make a quick card.

The base of the card is folded half-sheet of Basic White card stock. This card opens on the right and the fold is on the left.

I taped the more solid looking piece on first. It measures 4" on the left side and 3-7/8" on the bottom.

The rectangle piece measures 1-3/4" x 4".

The words are from the "Peaceful Moments" set and were stamped using Highland Heather ink. They were die cut using the third (of four) "Stitched Circle" Framelets.

A Highland Heather scalloped circle was die cut, it was just a hair larger than the stitched circle. The two circles were taped together and then set in place on top of the card using Dimensionals.

A few pearls were added and the card was done.

This is a fun way to use up scraps, especially ones that almost made it to the recycling bin and now they are part of a card!

Thank you SO much for taking your time to stop by and see what I did today
