Flowers for Every Season, Peaceful Moments, Thank You Card

Today's card is much like yesterday's card. I liked that layout and was wondering if it would work using the adorable "Stitched Rectangle" dies.  And the answer was yes though the words were a bit more difficult to work with.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.  On top of that I taped a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock that was textured using the "Subtle" embossing folder.

I die cut the 2-5/8" x 3-15/16" rectangle and the 1-13/16" x 3-1/8" rectangle dies together.  I used a couple of pieces of Post it Note tape to hold them in place.

Once they were die cut I took the center solid rectangle and measured it on my paper cutter and cut a piece of Designer Series Paper from the "Flowers for Every Season" 6" x 6" paper stack.  I taped the DSP to the rectangle panel that was die cut. Then I added tape to the back of it. To affix the DSP piece to the front of the card I set the rectangle frame on the front of the card and I pressed the DSP rectangle in place.  I removed the frame rectangle and added Dimensionals to it and set it in place.

I struggled with where to put the words. Normally I put them on that textured layer.  So I stamped the words from the "Peaceful Moments" set using Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White card stock.  I laid across the frame to see where it looked the best and this is what I ended up. I taped back of the sides and added a couple Dimenisonals in the middle and I set the words in place.

I do like how it turned out.  These layouts are fun to play with.  Plus you get to use that center piece that usually gets set aside for something else (maybe! LOL).

Thank you SO very much for taking the time to stop by today and have a look,
Wanda
