Snow Front, Christmas Card, 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Catalog

I don't know where I was going with this card but here is where it ended up.

The base of my card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock for the front of my card.

The trees are from the "Snow Front" set and were stamped using Mossy Meadow ink. I had cut a post it note with a slight wave in it so I could mask the bottom of the two trees to make them look like they were behind the snow mound.

I took my Balmy Blue ink pad and my Blender Pen and colored along that light pencil line to define the snowline.

The words are from the "Itty Bitty Christmas" set. I stamped them using Real Red ink.

The piece was then textured using the new "Winter Snow" embossing folder. I love how detailed these snowflakes are.

The card needed something more. I was going to splash/tap on some Balmy Blue ink to look like drops of snow but they would be white not blue so I scrapped that idea.  A ribbon didn't look right either.

I thought I'd try stamping the larger tree on a scrap piece of Whisper White using Mossy Meadow ink. Then I die cut it using the second smallest "Stitched Oval" die.

I taped the 4" x 5-1/4" piece to the card base using double sided tape.  Then I added Dimensionals to the back of the oval piece and set it in place.

This card was quick and easy to make. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but at least it's not ugly!!! LOL

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by today,                                                                          Wanda
