Positive Thoughts, Here's A Card, Birthday Card

I found a fun card on Pinterest that I thought I would make but I didn't have the images. So this is what I came up with. You can see the original card here.

The base of the card is a folded half-sheet of Whisper White card stock.

I cut a 3-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of Cajun Craze card stock. I set the die from the "Ornate Borders" dies set. I set it on the right edge and I taped it down with a couple of pieces of Post it tape.  I didn't want it to move on my platform.

I stamped the leaf from the "Positive Thoughts" set using Versa Mark.  I sprinkled white embossing powder on it and I heat set it.

I added some snail tape to the left, top, bottom and near the die cut on the Cajun Craze piece.  Then I took some white glue and spread it on my silicone pad. Spread it thin using a toothpick.  I slid the die cut side across the thin glue and set the piece in place on the card base.

The words are from the "Here's a Card" set. I stamped them using Cajun Craze ink.  I die cut them using the second smallest "Stitched" oval die.  I set the oval in place using Dimensionals.

I tied a white Baker's Twine bow and glued it in place.  And that was it.

This is a very quick and easy card to make.  I am thinking about trying some more cards using the "Ornate Borders" dies, there's a couple more flowered border dies that look like they'd be fun to play with.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to stop by,
Wanda
